One of the most amazing elements of Luke and Amy‘s wedding was how they crafted a unique and intentional multi-day experience for their friends and family! For the days prior to the wedding, friends came from all over to enjoy time by the lake and campfire together. From local golf course adventures to catching some speed while boating on the lake, there was much fun experienced by all.

There may have be a conga line involved following the ceremony as well—and yes that was our first time experiencing such an expression of joy and love. Keep scrolling to experience it right along with us!

Amy shared that she originally thought she would spend her time getting ready a bit more secluded— however, she opted to leave the doors wide open so kids, friends, and family could come in and out all morning for the most beautiful chaos she had ever experienced. A great testament to how there is no right or wrong way to experience your wedding day, just whatever is right for you in the moment.

Amy & Luke’s personalized wedding ceremony included the whole family. Conner walked Amy down the aisle to give her away, and all of the kids shouted out "We Do!"

It was also filled with surprises, such as the groom having no idea that their oldest daughter was singing during the ceremony. It was a very emotional moment for the couple, and there was hardly a dry eye in the crowd.

Luke also made the unity ceremony puzzle board himself. The couple and the kids each wrote a vow to the family on the back of the pieces. During the ceremony they read them out loud to each other and placed the pieces on the board which was sealed with a cross by their Pastor.
